Final Fantasy Versus XIII Clip from TGS07
A new clip from last years Tokyo Game Show has surfaced online. It's not in great quality, and this is the only clip that is available online. As many of you may already know, in the past years Square-Enix has only shown Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailers in closed theaters. These closed theaters are well secured, and you are not suppose to bring cameras or any recording devices into the theaters. It's strange that someone was able to bring a cell phone into the closed theater, but what is even stranger is that it took forever for this clip to finally surface online. Although the quality isn't that great, if you focus enough, you can see the girl that wears a mini skirt and the main male character. It's really hard to see what they are doing in the clip, but they are there. It would have been nice if the person with the cell phone was able to get closer to the television screen that was showing the trailer, but at least we have something. Maybe we will finally see the trailer that the clip is of this year, or maybe Square-Enix will have more closed theaters. All we can do is cross our fingers. Talk about enigmatic--I couldn't figure out anything happening in the trailer. It's good to know that there is still some 'new' media circulating on the game, though, no matter how old.
Yeah, very poor quality indeed. Yeah. Maybe S-E had this released to keep some hope alive for their games that have been in the dark forever. Maybe they realized that hype has been decreasing, and they wanted to nudge it a bit. I think this because I find the timing of this release weird. You would think the person who captured this would have put this on the net months ago. Ah, I'm just guessing. At least it's a little something, though.
Something's better than nothing I suppose. I just wish SE would release media in more official ways more often. I can really feel the hype dying.
